Kids from tornado ravaged Alabama serve neighbors in Tennessee.

The bus pulled into the parking lot at Smoky Mountain Christian Village in Pigeon Forge, TN and over 60 senior high kids from First Baptist Saks, Alabama jumped off ready to “Love their Neighbors” in Sevier County, Tennessee. Weeks before this group lead by Pastor Jeremy Ford contacted LIVE-IT to adopt one of the many projects here in Sevier County, and adopt they did. Judy B. (a widow) lives in Sevierville with her son 15 year old son, Adam. There are many projects that need to be completed around Judy’s home. The first, is obvious as you approach her drive. With no husband and limited resources Judy has not been able to keep up with the maintence on her property, also transient neighbors have used her property as a dump. The first project would be cleaning up her property, and building her new steps and a landing to replace the rickety one she currently uses. Enjoy these pictures of these great kids (and great adults too!) that spent two full days doing what God has called all of us to do…Love People!
